Best of Both Worlds with Cruise West

Day 5-Frederick Sound and Tracy Arm

Today was the day to see humpback whales in the 45 mile long Frederick Sound.  A side trip along 25 mile long Tracy Arm was also included.  At the end of the day the group transferred to Spirit of Alaska to spend the rest of the trip.

Day 6-Skagway and Haines

Sightseeing in the Skagway and Haines was part of the day's journey along with some cruising.

Day 7-Glaceir Bay National Park and Preserve

Today was the day of wildlife with the help of a park ranger, who spend the day on the ship, to help point things, including whales.  A rare teat was also enjoyed on this day...WOLVES!

Day 8-Juneau

Today the group got to go out on their own and do some land sightseeing or opt for additional tour such as Mendenhall Glacier tour.  They also had to say good-bye to the crazy crew.  The night was spent at Goldbelt Hotel and the next day saw our members safely back home.
