Best of Both Worlds with Cruise West
NWC Alaskan Cruise 2006
Recently members from the Northwoods Wildlife Center enjoyed an amazing cruise in
Alaska from August 22-29. This was a little bit different cruise in
that half the week was spent day-tripping on Sheltered Seas while
spending the nights in quaint hotels. The second half was spent on Spirit
of Alaska experiencing Glacier Bay and surrounding towns.
This was yet another
cruise that was a wildlife watcher's dream with Humpback whales, wolves,
mountain goats, puffins being among the many animals spotted. As you
will see in the pictures the weather was a little on the chilly side, but
it is Alaska so it was expected. Having once in a life-time
experiences kept everybody nice and warm.
Check out the basic
daily itinerary and then click on the pictures

to make your own memories and add to our photo album.
