how to sight your binos?  Join Jaime Healy, an advance beginner birder,

to learn some tips to get you going on this fast growing sport.

For ages 10 yrs and above

Bird id book and binoculars available to borrow for program.

Birds of Prey:  30-45 minutes long

learn about just a few.  Meet one of our resident birds up close and

               personal.

Fossils:  45-60 minutes long

Discover the evidence of life of long ago.  With your help Bart Kotarba

dinosaurs roamed the earth.  During this program children will get the

chance to handle real and replica fossils.

Froggy Talking:  45-60 minutes long

Jaime Healy will present this program on the sounds of frogs and

toads make and how to identify them.  Come to this program to learn

Kestrels in Wisconsin: 45-60 minutes

Join Janet and Amber Eschenbauch, banders and researchers, to learn

more about the Buena Vista Grassland American Kestrel Survey.  This

citizen based program has been operating continuously since 1968 and

is one of the longest running Kestrel nest box studies in the United

States.  Janet and Amber will talked about their experiences, show off

their equipment  and explain how their findings are helping us learn more

               about Wisconsin Kestrels

The Nature of Rocks:  60 minutes long

Are you a rock hound or find yourself picking up rocks everywhere you

go?  Bart Kotarba presents this program to help you understand what

               and keep for $2 each.
