Available Programs

The Northwoods Wildlife Center is committed to the care of injured and
orphaned wildlife. To further this goal, educational programs have
been developed to promote greater appreciation for wildlife and the
natural world. Informative guided tours are offered
year-round. Visitors will have the ability to view various animals
including birds of prey, reptiles, and amphibians. Inside the center
special nature exhibits of interest to children and adults alike are
displayed. Special events and programs are planned throughout the
summer.
Trained professional staff are available for programs at schools,
camps, clubs, or community organizations. We have many core programs
available, often featuring one or two of our permanently injured
residents. These programs will offer the opportunity to handle
natural artifacts such as talons, feathers, or skulls. The center
also has the facilities to provide programs as well as private tours in
house if preferred.
