Befriend Willow!

Injury:  Fracture to humerus

Willow is a Barred owl who came to us in December of 2003.  Willow had been a nest fall and fractured her humerus during the fall.  Willow was rehabbed by another WI rehabber.  This rehabber tried to keep a bandage on Willow's injured wing so she couldn't move it and allow it to heal.  Unfortunately Willow didn't like the bandage nor understand its purpose and would continually tear it off.  Because of these actions her wing did not heal well enough for her to have proper flight.
